Bluum Box September 2014 - 47 Months Old Girl

This post contains affiliate links, which save you and me both money.

I'm very appreciative if you decide to sign up and use my link. You'll get a great discount if you do!

I am very excited to show you all my September Box. It got to my house a little late, but that had nothing to do with Bluum. It took a bit because I redeemed 500 Bluum Points for a FREE box. Yes you heard right, I got this box completely free. Because there is a great perk about Bluum, after you receive your monthly box you check your account and you will be able to review the products. For each review you get points. I collected 500 points in 6 months. It was super easy!

So here is what we received in our FREE box:

- Snapea Crisps, lightly salted - around $2 at the grocery store.

Everyone in our family loves salty snacks and these Snapea Crisps are just delicious. I love their flavor and crunch.

-Peaceable Kingdom, Fruit Stickers - Wacky Fruit Party $6.99

This is a very silly but also cute idea. I also like it because kids can explore fruits and veggies.

Our daughter already likes her fruit and veggies but I bet it could help other kids.

- The Wonderful World of Simon Abbott, The Big Body Book - $9.99
Every child needs a book about the human body, since everyone needs to know what is inside a body and how all the organs work.  I really enjoy these colorful illustrations.

-Bumkins Dr. Seuss, Pink Cindy Lou Melamine Bowl - $4.95
We use bowl each and every day. Either for cereal, snacks, fruit and even for finger paints or beads.

-Manhattan Toy Handpuppet, Swashbucklers Maiden - $16.00
Handpuppets are fun in so many ways. For playing, for creating a puppet show, for demonstrating a situation or feeling or for just having a conversation with.

- I want to draw, Fairy Princess - $4.99
Our daughter loves Dry Earase boards, so she of course loves this coloring book. There are 6 different princesses in this book and every page is super easy to just wipe clean.

The value of all the items combined, is more than what the normal box costs ($29.00). And I just love the variety Bluum always sends us.

THANK YOU BLUUM for sending us such a great box! The 500 Bluum points were way worth it.

Citrus Lane September 2014 Box Review #2 - 2 year old Girl

This post contains affiliate links, which save you and me both money. I'm very appreciative if you decide to sign up and use my link. You'll save 50% off your first box if you do!

So, since we got two different boxes this month I will make two different blog posts.
One box was actually put together for 3 year old girls, here is the link for that post, and the other one for 2 year old girls.

Here is what we got for our 2 year old daughter:

- Barefoot Books, Little Red Hen Book and CD - $16.99 on the Barefoot Books website.

We love books and also CDs, so I love this item. The illustrations are beautiful and I like that they used a classic tale.

- Somersault Snacks, Cinnamon Crunch - $0.89$ on the Somersault Snacks website.

Crunchy, little and healthy treat, made with wheat dough, sunflower seeds and cinnamon. This snack has just the right crunch and sweetness. I also like that it is just the right size for kids.

- Melissa and Doug, Red Shape Sorting Clock -$14.99 on the Melissa and Doug website.

I really like this clock, because you can use it to explore and actually touch all different kind of shapes and you can also learn about time/colors/numbers.

- Boon, Pieces Foam Bath Puzzle - $11.99 on the Boon website.

What a cute idea, I really like this unisex bath tub puzzle and I cant wait to play with it myself. I am super excited to try it out tonight with my daughter.

So I really like these items and I honestly have to say, that I like this one a bit more then the 3 year old box. Buts that is just my personal opinion. I really like all the different things you can explore with the Melissa and Doug Shape Sorting Clock and I also like the unique Boon Bath Tub Puzzle.

This box is worth $44, so quiet a bit more then the $29 dollars you pay for the box.

If you are interested in trying out Citrus Lane and love getting surprises in the mail, follow this link and you get 50% off your first box.

Citrus Lane September 2014 Box Review #1 - 3 year old Girl

This post contains affiliate links, which save you and me both money. I'm very appreciative if you decide to sign up and use my link.

You'll save 50% off your first box if you do!

This month we were actually able to get two different boxes, one for a 2 year old girl and one for a 3 year old girl. I will start with the box for the 3 year old girl, the boxes were a little different, since the main items were not the same. I was very happy about that and I kept some items for my daughters birthday next month.

I really enjoy my Citrus Lane subscription, they surprise us with so many different interesting items and it is so much for for my daughter to get mail. If you are interested in trying it out, here is a link for 50% off your first box. The price will be around 16$ and shipping will be free.

So here is what we got in our 3 year old box:

- Creativity for Kids, Critters Creativity Can - $9.99 on the Creativity for Kids website

I love stuff like this, it comes in a nice can. So you can easily put stuff away, when one craft is done. The critters look very cute and you can make them easily. I love that it comes as a whole creativity set, with all the components you need.

- Crocodile Creek, Vehicle Puzzle - Ice Cream truck sells for $10.99 on the Crocodile Creek website.

This is very neat and finally not a girly puzzle. I really like the colors and that the packaging looks like an actual ice-cream truck. I will save this puzzle for later, since my daughter is still working on other smaller puzzles and this one would be a little too hard (it has 48 pieces).

So, all together the items were worth around $38. The price of the box is only $29 with free shipping, so this months box has more bit more value. I really like the items we got, because they are all different and perfect for the rainy fall days coming up.

Again, if anybody is interested in trying out Citrus Lane, follow this link. It is definitely fun and you wont be disappointed.

You'll save 50% off your first box if you do!

So, we have been Citrus Lane Members for a while now and the last boxes where pretty good. Last month and also this month we were able to select what item we would prefer in out box. Here is my post about the different choices.
So we already knew what our main item ('On the go' Alphabet Flash Cards from Petit Collage) would be and were very excited. (Value 24$)

 Here is our complete Box:
- 'On the go' Alphabet Flash Cards from Petit Collage, 24$ on their website. These are great for learning letters, words and also to start reading.
- me4kidz - cool it buddy, soft reusable ice pack.
These are pretty and also useful for so many things like bug bites, boob boos, bee stings, pinched fingers or just for playing doctor. These are 3.99$ in their me4kidz shop.

-  Green Toys - Tea for Two, this is a small Tea Set especially made for Citrus Lane (not available on the Green Toys website or in store) but their Big Tea set is 27.99$ on the Green Toys website.

Our daughter has a play kitchen and we love cooking together, this will be a great addition. I love that it is actually food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher.

-  Digital Download from Little Pim
We also speak German at our house and I read a lot about introducing a second language at an early age. So I am actually very excited about this download and just went to their website to download German 'Happy, sad and silly'. (It was super easy to use and download)
I can not wait to watch it later tonight with my daughter.

At the end of July Citrus Lane announced that they got acquired by care.com. So there was also a flyer for care.com in the box, with a special deal.
I heard from a lot of friends that they found some great nannies and dog walkers on their website.

All in all, this is a great box. The value of the items exceeds the price for the monthly box (29$ for a month-to-month subscription).

We love Citrus Lane and they have some great fun items. I love the quality of the products and the ideas behind the products.

Thank you for another awesome Citrus Lane Box.

I'm very appreciative if you decide to sign up and use my link. You'll save 50% off your first box if you do!

So last months Bluum Box was terrific. We received so many great summer items and were super happy.
So for this month, I expected another great box.
I can tell you all, I was NOT disappointed.

Here is what we got:

- Child's Play - Roly Poly Numbers Book, 9.89 $ on amazon.com

We haven't tried it out yet since we just got the box today. But this looks like a lot of fun, great to make up stories and to explore.

-Write n' Seal - WHOOzems, 7.99$ on amazon.com

These are very useful. Our daughter doesn't go to school yet, but even just for toys, books, DVDs or play dates they work great.

I love the fact that they laminate itself and stick on almost everything, even on sweaty sport equipment and wet food containers.

- Parragon - Miles of Fun Bingo Game with 4 Bingo Cards, 10.99$ on the Parragon website.

Very good way of keeping kids entertained in the car, we cant wait to try it out.

- Peppercorn Kids - Color Block Bandana Headband, 12.00$ on the Peppercorn Kids Website.

This is super cute, everybody who knows me knows our daughter always has hats or or something in her hair. So this is my favorite product, in this months box. I love the colors and we tried it on immediately.

 We love it.

- We also received a choosemyplate.gov kids apron. These aprons are very useful for several things, cooking, baking, messy artwork, ... .

I personally just think it wont last long, because the quality is not the best.

So all in all, you see the value we received is way more then what you pay for a single box. So this month was again, well worth the money.

I love Bluum boxes!

We also had alot of fun with the packaging!

THANK YOU again BLUUM for sending us such a great box!
